I'm certainly not an expert, but the green looks like serpentine, with inclusions of other rock, perhaps basalt with some quartz also showing. Somebody will know for sure.

Looks like a hunk of cooled slag to me. Where'd you find it. ?

I can't think of any natural rock formation from any region of Kansas you wound find something like this. I believe it's a piece of glassy slag most likely transported to the location as railroad ballast. What is slag?? Does it have to do with oil drilling??

Slag is anything scraped off the top of something melted. The unpure junk that rises to the top. In this case Glass

Depending on the weight, the center looks like petrified wood.
