Help in IDing 1977 print

Help in ID'ing 1977 print

I pick this up at a yard sale last week and I'm having trouble making out the artist
name I can see that it says Hubert L or J then the last name I think starts with an F
it is signed in pencil and was limited to 50 copies any help would really help,by the
way I did make a new frame for it. I picked it up for $4.00

The artist is Herbert L. Fink. The print is titled "Christmas Eve" and it is the last one - number 50 out of 50 made. A nice find, especially at that price. Nice find and ID. The book shown in Divers post is available on Google books and your print is on page 32.

Found a site selling Fink's limited editions in the $500 range...(retail)

I'd say you may a good find....
