Help IDing this sterling silver small container with detailed craftsmanship

Can anyone assist with IDing (age, location, etc.) this silver object I found. There is no mark stating that it is silver, but I know it is from the sound, weight and acid test (turned bright red). Since there is no silver mark, I am thinking it is old (before they were required to mark silver objects)...the craftsmanship is quite detailed and beautiful. It is about 1 to 1.25 inches width and about 1 inch in height.
Any help would be awesome!

I'm guessing late 1800's, it is a beautiful piece, it looks hand designed. Did you find it metal detecting?

The filigree work reminds me of Bezalel silver made in Palestine

looks like a potpoutti container..the small ones were often placed in cloths drawers.my simple guess
