Help ID'ing this quarter sized silver disc. Spanish Cob??

I posted this item this morning in the What is it? forum, and someone there suggested I post it here as well to see if anyone might think it could be a Spanish Cobb...

A couple of the people who replied thought that it was a silver quarter that had been in a fire.

Any ideas?
