Dug this tonight and I assumed until I got home that it was a New Jersey copper because a buddy of mine dug two out of this site last year. I got it home and got a 1775 date off of it which is too early. You can see the BR of Brittania on the reverse (which appears to be offset to the left) and there is no detail on the front. I'm assuming it's a George III issue, but wondering what denomination. The halfpenny was my first guess, but the "foot" or whatever it is on the right side of the reverse seems to be too close to the line above the date from the photos I've seen. The obverse photo is oriented upright I think... I held the coin upright on the reverse and flipped it vertically.
