Help ID'ing Last Finds of '09

It's been a joy checkin out everyone's great finds from the past few months and past year. These are the last two points I found in early November '09. The one on the left is made out of some type of chalcedony and is translucent. The one on the right is made out of flint ridge I think. The second pic shows the steep bevel on the chalcedony point. This point is rather thick for its short length.

These were both found in Southwestern Pa and I don't have an idea on the types. Good luck in 2010, it seems that some members have already had some luck. I hope my second year of artifact hunting is as successful as the first year.

Hey Rich, that's some really nice looking high grade material there. Congrats on those. I've got some chalcedony points from sw pa. that are similar but not quite as colorful as that beauty. It looks like it may possibly be flint ridge chalcedony, I'm not sure of the type. The larger point has some Snyder qualities imo.

nice finds Rich,the piece on the left sure looks like flintridge material,sorry i cant help out on type,but looks like some kind of archaic stemmed form?cool insitus :thumbsup:
