Hello all,

My father has been collecting for over 40 years and has found tons of your general arrowheads and rock tools but this item is a first. I searched the net as much as I could and found nothing to match it. It could be a specialized Pestle perhaps. This item was found in New Jersey if that helps also. Thanks in advance.

Welcome. It looks like a weaving or netting tool. Try posting over on the North American Indian artifact forum. They know their stuff.

Hello all...

Noticed this was your very first post - so, while you are waiting for member comments - allow me to say Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting your state for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

Welcome to T-Net a mano, or a roller pestle, and yes, the Native American Section would be able to give you more info.
