Help? identifying Token " The T.I.G.H." embossed with a bottle, dug from Del. River
Hey Friends,
I dug this from some dredge spoils on the bank of Delaware River (near Bristol).
So far, THE most exciting thing I've ever dug. It rang loud on the machine (copper\tin) & I thought it was a lead sinker.
Seems to weigh as much, 28 grams! Please, I will be able to get a full nights sleep once I find out what the letters stand for.
THE T_I_G_H_ with a (blob top)? ale or milk? bottle. No embossing on reverse, just a little gouged.
It's thick & pretty crudely made.
I found this about 2 mos. ago & have researched SO many hours. Tried a coin collector, library, antique dealer & nada.
Thanks for any insight or thoughts! Happy hunting to you all!
