I bought them on eBay.
I received over 50 and these were in pretty good shape.
The rest are soaking in olive oil.

Scott

Don,
My computer crashed and I'm on a borrowed laptop.
I will have to re-take the photos when I get my computer up and running again.

Perhaps in the meantime, the photos posted can be saved to your pictures and enlarged?
I'm just not that computer smart...

Best Wishes,

Scott

OK, Folks,
I got my computer fixed and let's try this again....

First one appears to be Constans obverse; reverse is two victorys facing each other, holding wreaths, upright palm branch between them (obscured). Mint mark may be SMTS (Thessalonica--Salonika, Greece).
Don.......
PS: This may be more precise:

Constans AE3Obv: CONSTANS-PF AVG, rosette diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right Rev: VICTORIAE DD AVGGQ NN, Two Victories facing each other, each holding wreaths and palm branches. Mintmark SMTSB. Palm branch upright in centre. RIC VIII Thessalonica 105, rated scarce

Don,
Thanks!

Soon I hope to learn more about the others I have soaking.

Is there a website that could help me with identifications?

Best,

Scott

AU24K,
What coins (here or others you may have) have yet to be ID-ed?

Don,
I have several early Moroccan coins and many Ancients.
I had many specimens ID'd by my College Course Anthropology Professor while attending College.
Unfortunately, I still have many yet to ID.
None are silver or gold.....

Most of the ancients appear to be Valentinian in approximate date range,
but I'm not certain of correct attribution.

I can provide photos of close-ups using a coin magnifier.
I shant waste anyone's time with details on coin's photos so weak as to be unascertainable.
If you would like to assist, I'll post only a few at a time so as to not overwhelm your assistance.

Be Well, my Friend!

Happy Easter!
HE HAS ARISEN! :notworthy:

Best,

Scott

Tell your Grandkids, "Thank You!"

I'll work on taking some quality photos in the next few days.
I'll take photos of each side and have them labelled for ease of discussion of each.
Do you have knowledge of both Ancient AND Early Moroccan?

Scott
