Kinda looks like Mahogany Obsidian...what part of the country did it come from??

I concur with mahogany obsidian. The likely origin is far western US.

I live in WA state, but the rock could have come from anywhere. The person who built this stone wall collected from all over the world. That is the story my parents were told when they bought the property in 1985 from a couple who had lived there since around 1932 when the house was built. Unfortunately, I was too young at the time to understand or even care. When my parent's bought it, the wall was overgrown and you could barely tell it was even there. It wasn't until my husband and I purchased it from my parents in 1995 that we happened upon it and started digging it out from years of neglect. Someone put alot of time into constructing it. I really wish I knew more about it.
