#1 Do hardness and streak test.
#2 Limonite, likely. Brownish streak will confirm that.

Thank you very much, I take it the hardness and streak test will help identify the first one huh? You see the metal?, I'd what it is but it looks as if it's under the black crust.

Chances are it's not a 'pure' metal, just looking metallic. Probably a sulphide or oxide.
Jupp, the tests do limit possibilities. With over 4000 minerals known to man, many minerals are kinda similar looking.
