Very interesting finds. I could not venture a guess on any of them. Welcome to TreasureNet. Glad to have you with us. This is a great place.

Welcome...photo ten appears to be a geode of some agateized mineral.

In photo 1 the long rock - wondering if it could be an American Indian axe of some kind. Thanks for answers and guesses :) I love finding cool rocks!

Fishing weight. The round one could be a game ball. I have some of them. And there are two pieces of old pottery in the mix.

Cool stuff. Welcome to a serious addictive passion. :)

Number three could be an egg with its shell half broken off. That is what they look like. You need to ask the fossil folks on that one.

And finally, number 11 could be the canine tooth of something I would definitely recommend staying a distance away from. I would think (hope) that whatever that tooth - if that is what it is - was in would be loud enough to hear before it ripped your neck out.

Big cat tooth. That is sure what it looks like.

I don't know where these came from but I took a look at the "tooth" after the last responce and noticed the deep pitting and also the conglomerate appearence of most of the items and... I could be wrrond but I believe they might all be coquina stone in some odd shapes...IF...that is true I would say the geode looking piece is probably calcite crystal inside a fossil shell.

They came from several riverbeds/riversides in Texas :) does that mean it is or isn't a tooth in your opinion?

Again Im only basing this on photos..so it's far from difinitive but if you are in gulf coastal TX. that's alot like Florida where I am and that's what I think I see.

Here are other shots of it. Thanks for looking!

Wow..it sure looks Like its half of a bone joint in the first two. But then the second two not so much. Wish I could see it in person. If you haven't yet..try posting in the fossil forum. There is two guys that really know their stuff. They go by..HarryPristis...and.. AgeOld. Sorry I can't do better.

Wow Gator, thank you, I'm really honored.

Unfortunately, this isn't a fossil tooth, as far as I can tell. I am by no means a expert in Texas fossils, but it looks like a rock. Keep looking, though, you never know what you might find.
