Found on an early 1800s site in New York. I tried Google lens but found nothing. There is nothing written on the other side.

Looks like a more current generic coat of arms blazer cuff button. I had similar from Sears and Penny’s years ago. If it’s precious metal , then it’s older. Hard to tell from photo for me. I’m not up on buttons. Good luck.

1700's and 1800's buttons usually had a shank on the back. I find late 1800's buttons with 4 holes in them. I would say a two hole button is probably from the 1900's up to the present day.
