It's about 1 1/4" long, about 3/4" wide. It's pinkish/gray to a white/gray layer back to pink/gray tip.

Nice point. If its a local find it may be an Marrow M.T., but I'm not sure. Seems a little small for that type. The location of the find is important as similar looking points have a different types depending on where they were found. Nice to see another local here, I'm about twenty miles south of you. Good luck, hopefully someone with more info will help out.

I found it in a yard at a property we were doing a leaf cleanup at. I spent the whole time staring at the ground, i wasn't even watching where i was blowing the leaves. LOL. I just happened to spot it while picking up some limbs under a big tree.

LOL. Sounds like the same way I till my garden. As I said not sure about the I.D. There are alot of late woodland types found in this area that are that small, but most are triangles.I would say its at least a 1000 years old, maybe as old as 7000 BP. Sorry I cant be more helpful.

Thanks. I never knew how people found arrowheads until i started metal detecting and saw them posted on the forum. So ive been keeping an eye out for them where ever i go. You just never know where one might show up.

Just a suggestion... Check real good. Beneath that tree. Root systems of large trees can bring things to the surface that would otherwise remain buried. If you're up to it you may want to dig a few test holes in that area and see if you find more Flint. Also if there's any water nearby I would check any area where gravel has collected.
