Hello everyone and thank you for taking a look at my post. I've recently entered the world of treasure hunting and I was able to pick up these 2 vases but I don't know much about decorative pottery.

Both vases appear to be hand painted. But I can't be sure.

The yellow vase is 6 3/4" tall with a 2 1/4" base. The marking on the bottom is "Moriyama" and "made in japan" along with a flower basket symbol.

There is another thread in which a user has a moriyama serving dish.

The blue vase has no markings or identifying labels. one of the sides shows a male, maybe in french attire, curtseying towards a woman in a white dress. I'm sure the picture shows it better then my poor attempt at a description. 7 1/2 inches tall and 3" base. I have no clue what or where this is from.

Thanks to everyone
