Where did they come from?
Initially they strike me as Fort Payne material possibly from the Tennessee area
 

The darker one looks a little like Onondaga.. It would really help to know what area they came from
 

found in central Pa., pretty sure not fort payne, and positive not onondaga. These are the only pieces of this i ever seen in collections from around here. If these are common somewhere, then someone should have the answer, but maybe they are those rare lithics that every collection has and forever remains a mystery,
 

I see you find Dauphin County white.
Why wouldn't you think the lighter one was the same material? Might just have a little higher silica content in that particular vein looks like the same iron deposits
