Sorry but you are gonna have to do better than one single semi blurry photo of an un-cleaned item.

No offense... but wash it and repost with multiple photos... back... close... etc.

Alrighty, sorry for the jacked up photo. I will do my best to take a multiple pictures on white background and repost tomorrow. Thanks.

I agree. The pic is not the best...

Based on size, shape, and the leaf, I'm guessing it is part of a Lt. Colonel epaulette.

I must also say your item looks very familiar to me but I cant get a finger on it.

The added pics are very well done. In the close-ups you can see tiny remnants of gold gilt.

I will stand by my guess of part of an epaulette.
