- Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!

Dirty..do you see any sign at all on that rock showing where it
has been worked, or changed to form it into a tool?
You might want to research a few posts from the more successful
artifact hunters, as then you'll see the clear differences between a
natural rock and one that has been worked by a human.
It's a learning process, but it will help you increase your finds...
