John, Try posting this on the What Is It forum. There is a guy named Subterrainian (sp?) who knows volumes about old toys and who should be able to give you an ID.

I don't know what it is but that car body style was around 1930.

After some googling, Manoil started in mid thirties. We need a good toy guy which I am not. After looking at it, it does look to be in the thirties. The gun looks more modern too.

I saw one of those on Pawn Stars and, in mint condition, it could be worth quite a bit of money. Yours has condition issues, of course, but well worth having someone check it out. Nice piece for your own collection too! H Digs
