002.JPGView attachment 937036Seems to be two piece pewter button.obverse has mold seem,reverse side doesn't.have a mold seem.Hopin someone can tell me period and usage.The reverse not havving a mold seem makes me wonder if it is two pieceThe reverse is on the attachment next to the picture.

Looks like a plain one piece underwear button to me. Tough to date it without a maker's mark.

Early 1800s pewter underwear button. Mold seam is on the reverse. No mold seam on the front. It is a one piece button because...there's only one piece!
