Found this yesterday. It's slightly larger than a quarter, and is pretty toasted. On the obverse, an outline of the head is visible. Some writing on the right side looks to be either "II REX" or "III REX" Can't see much else of anything. The reverse is completely obliterated. I tried taking several pics of the obverse.

Any ideas would be great! Thanks in advance!

Nope, can't be. Probably a counterfeit George III halfpenny. The profile doesn't match, and you can easily eliminate it by looking at the angle of the "E" in Rex, as well as the spacing of the letters. A good find, but the condition is too poor to ever say exactly what coin, or variety.

It is definitely not a Vermont, as IP has stated. It is one of the many many counterfeit KGIII copper halfpence.
