Lots of people know buttons but i am not one of them.

I found these buttons yesterday at the same place i found a world war 1 Collar disc.

I Know the Carter's buttons are likely from jeans or overalls but i can't find a match on the net
making it hard to put a date to them. The Carter's website has no info at all on their history.

Also, the back has me confused. What is on the back of the button on the left? The one on the right is missing it.

Finally, This Anchor button is a two piece missing the back. Can anyone tell me if it is military or not?

In advance, thanks for your help!

HH everyone!

The Carter’s snap buttons are pretty cool...they should be from the early 20th century from denim workwear...super oldworkwear Company. Those buttons wear never meant to be removed and could have gone through a fire...perhaps there are more there.C94953D2-6749-44A4-9A30-A578A1B0782A.webp620C5221-1050-49E3-9231-EA95BD91C2B8.webp

I'm going non-military on the anchor button.

I'm going non-military on the anchor button.

I think you may be correct. I can't find any Military buttons that match it.
