They look a bit small to be trading tokens. It's odd that they all seem to be clipped in the same area.

I was noticing that too. I had read somewhere else on this site that native Americans would damage coins due to superscription and i was wondering if that could explain that. Also all together they weigh less than a gram so i almost think there not coinage with that little material but i could be wrong i'm no expert.

Some old tokens were used for admission to different events. When you entered you handed your coin over and it was punched and given back. Punching the coinds could be anything from cutting part of it off to cutting a triangle or punching a circle out as if using a paper punch.

I've magnified the photo a bit. They look a bit too fancy to be tokens and the one looks like a hammered coin. I don't think it's English, perhaps Spanish. Is it silver?

We need close ups with a real camera and a macro setting in natural light of Both Sides of each of these coins to help you with the ID.
