Hi All,

Found these old bullets in an area that goes back to 1650s. I have no experience at all with bullets. I dug about a little on the net and didn't see them. Found in Canada.

Let me know what these are if you can. The first image the bullet has a jacket on with vertical lines...The other just has the one ring...

Thanks in advance!

I can tell that those are relatively modern. The crimp marks in the groves is a method of loading that came about after the civil war was over.

Based on the age of the site, you may find more musket balls and pistol balls than bullets. Good luck!

Looks like a modern era bullet to me. I've loaded for a few years. looks like a "dime a dozen" .22
