Dug this military pin today. I think it may be WW2 era Army. Any help with ID will be appreciated.

Unless I am mistaken, that is the hat insignia for the Woman's Army Corp.

The Army version, also post WW2, had a bronze/gold finish. This appears to me to have the silver Air Force finish, with some of the blackening still intact if I'm seeing it right.

Thanks for the help guys. I dug this at an old farm house that I was born and raised in ( 1967-2002). The house is still in the family. My dad was the only family member in the military. He served in the latter part of WW2. I wonder where it came from?
