Help id Male ring

Hi, Could anyone help me id this ring. My daughters found this and the only thing I know is that its 18ct gold and male. It has stamps inside but I cannot find what this could mean.

Looks like a tiger-eye gemstone, need a clear pic of the gemstone and setting.

Got to be European I'm thinking being marked .750... Don't know what that cross mark is? Not found anything yet. My guess it's the makers mark?? Nice chunk of gold.

IMO from the style is from India or that area, the gemstone in this photo is hard to ID. I would say it is a tigar eye gemstone, another popular gemstone from that area is the star sapphire.

Ive looked and tiger eyes are all brown? Look closer to agate. Any ideas on the stamp, I don't even know what that shape would be called. 4 pointed star?

They come in red too, your photo is still not efficient enough to stab at a photo ID. So we are working with what you are posting. As for the red, garnets or rubies are clear, translucent, or opaque, unlike a tigar eye where no light will pass througt . The magic of a tigar eye is reflected from its surface. Depending on size it could be a woman's ring too, 18 k gold is another point that it is from India, Asia uses 18k gold too where it is passed down or used to marry off family.

The stone appears to be a banded agate in the better pic.
