Help Id button

This is the first time I post. I found what seems to be a a miltary button. I am detecting in front of Fort McArthur in San Pedro Ca. The property is dated 1920. I have found a WW1 button recently but this one i can't ID. The back is totally gone so there is not any marks. Can anyone help me with this. I have looked through military and police websites but I can't find anything similar. Thanks for your help.
