Help ID a Lead Bullet

Found this on a friend's property. Solid lead and looks pretty old. Anyone know what caliber/date it's from? Maybe 1/2-inch tall and wide.

Need measurements and weight to be sure but looks like a .45 round nose. If it's a true half inch it is for a muzzle loader. Monty

Looks like a 230 grain hardcast for 45 acp or 45 long colt, modern. With the advent of the 50AE and the 50 S&W bullets in the 1/2" range don't have to be for just muzzleloaders anymore.
