✅ SOLVED HELP! I found this cast brass thingy... What is it?

I found this under small rocks in a field. Approx. 5 inches down. It appears to be cast brass about 2 1/2 inches long. I say it is brass because either the rocks scratched it or I nicked it with my Digger and I see shiny gold color. One end has the two prongs, the other end is round with a notch on one side and smooth on other. iIt looks familiar to me but I just cannot place it. Any help appreciated.

Looks like a mouth harp to me, also called jaw harp. Popular with the hillbilly bands and that genre.

Jaw harp...Nailed it.

Ohhh, Yes, I knew I had seen it before. I gues the spring steel is missing. I bet a farmer must have set out in the middle of the field at those rocks and took a break and made music. That's a stretch, LOL. Thanks Edsel! SOLVED!
