Help finding artist

I have a bunch of street scene art so I know most aren't worth much but I came across these pieces and for only a few dollars a piece, couldn't pass them up. I also got a gold sales award plaque for a few dollars so if the paintings are a loss, the plaque will make up for it. Anyway, I can't quite make out the name. I thought it was Bernard but it seems to be missing some letters for that unless they are running into each other. They are pretty typical street scenes although I can't tell if they are in Paris or NY. As always any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
