I only had a very short time to hunt today so I went to the same spot I got the gold ring yesterday and the only find worth posting was a copper thing that has a mans head wearing a helmet with wings. It almost looks familiar but I can't place it. Maybe 1920's-1940's?
Any ideas?

Mercury - or Hermes depending on culture - Me I remember FTD logo

Nice find whoever he is!

Hermes,, Greek god of commerce, Roman counterpart; Mercury

Take away the wings and then with just a helmet the guy reminds me of what would be in a old war poster.

The Flash..

I thought you were joking but the 1940's the flash did have a army type helmet with wings. You may be on to something! [emoji106]

I think it may be solved. A guy found this and told me...
"It looks like the mercury logo used by Ford from 1941-1958"
