My name is Marti... I'm a true beginner in treasure hunting. Ohio has been my home for 52 yrs, soon Kentucky, will be. I'm just starting to take an interest in metal detecting, I bought a cheaper end metal detector to see if I will like it. I think I'm hooked.... On my very first time out, I used the metal detector in my front yard, and found a diamond ring. I had taken the ring, to two different companies, and they both said it was vintage around 1920-30 era. I haven't had the chance to use the metal detector since, with packing and all. But will be looking again soon. :-)
