Hello! I'm from Huntington Beach California and wanted to say hi! So, I've done a bit of panning and have had luck here and there but it's been several years now. I'm looking to get into metal detecting and panning as well. I've been really curious about detecting out in the socal deserts. Maybe buy an ATV and explore some if that's possible. Anyways, great site, hope to learn a lot and maybe meet some new treasure hunting buddies.
