Greetings from VA. New to the world of MD-ing but have already landed some interesting finds. I have really put the CoinMaster GT to the test already logging close to 100 hours with it. Wife has finally learned to simply shake her head when I talk about a new lead or a find. Top find is a 1749 Farthing found at an old Bed and Breakfast on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Place was built in 1738. She was about 8" down and to see that green looking back at you from the bottom of the hole was really something.

I'll be posting in the White's sub forum for specific "detector - related" questions.
Thanks for the welcome and I look forward to sharing my finds with you veteran detectorists.

Good Call there vpnavy. Checking now. I was born in PA, eastern side, all kinds of Revolutionary War grounds nearby. I lived in Chester County.

I appreciate the welcome. This place has already been a wealth of knowledge.
