Hello to everyone on this forum, I truly am very excited over this newfound hobby of mine! Practically no one in my country has every done MD-ing, and I've gotten so inspired by PKennett on these forums that I am roaring to start now 
This total noob is surely looking forward to learning from all you pros out there!
Anyway, I need help over my first detector to buy, if you guys could hop over the Beach & Shallow section to see my thread I would greatly appreciate it.

Also... is it very selfish of me to not want to disclose this unique hobby to other people? I can already imagine the looks and questions i will get when i start my searches. Please understand, in my society people are capitalistic and materialistic. Once word gets out I won't know what to do to preserve the... profitability for the existing local detectorists & the occasional odd perceptive tourist. Its not that I do not wish to help, in fact I would be very happy to, but I rather wish for people to find this hobby out themselves, contact the existing members, and keep to ourselves.
