My name is Tracine Dorner, and I currently live in Trinidad, California, in Humboldt County.
I buy, sell, collect, and discover many things.
My ex-husband, and I held the mineral rights to 10 claims on the Klamath River from 1984 until 1990, where we specialized in catching fine gold. We figured that for every ounce of nugs you kept in the sluicebox, 2-3 ounces were blown back into the river. So, we successfully experimented with many dredging, and sluicing techniques. We also built a high-bar operation in Happy Camp, California.
Those were the days!
I was born in Fresno, California, but raised in England as a child, and have lived from coast-to-coast.
For the majority of my life I worked in the business side of the music industry, and have been a canine handler/trainer for 15 years, and am an Artist in my own right.
I would like to get involved in gem hunting, and continue to discover, and learn about artifacts of all kinds.
I also have a fondness for classic cars...
I'm excited to be a new member, and look forward to interacting with all of you adventurous people.
