I am a retired full time RVer now living in San Antonio. A friend of mine who has been metal detecting for years told me that I was foolish not to be using a metal detector while I travel around the country. When I thought about it, I realized that he was right. So here I am at age 68 taking up a new hobby to go alone with my RC planes. He told me that I’d find everything I need to know at the TreasureNet forum. I plan to buy my first detector in about a week so I’ll be able to use it when I travel to northern CA. (there's gold in them thar hills) in the spring.
