Hello, new to this site but not MDing..

Hello everyone, I am a 37 y/o male from NY and I started MD'ing when I was 7 y/o. I have stopped for the past 15 years or so but I am looking to get back into it. I am currently shopping for a detector although I will most likely buy a Whites since my last one was an Eagle Spectrum. I am looking to join a club or hook up with people of the same interest and get started again.

Thanks everyone...I decided on a Whites V3i. I am purchasing it this weekend. My first whites was a 4000D series 3 detector. Then a Teknetics Eagle, followed by a Whites Eagle Spectrum which I loved. @ Berkshire...I live nin Dutchess County which follows i-84
