Thanks for the info, I've been trying to learn, but without experience what I learn isn't worth a whole lot.

books, 1 rock, books. there's an amazing amount of info out there. Audobon field guide to rocks & minerals is great. I use it all the time.

I was joking but I been seeing allot of rocks coming in lately. Your the third there is..1rock and rocky77 and I believe another one.

Learning is the main thing we all can do. We all have ideas and thoughts.. Thou i need to make a correction, instead of scarn.. I should have said schist.. but that not must of a big differance.. basicly you have a good verity of stones.. But the main stones would be the ones with crystals (white and purple) and lets not forget the big flakes of mica..
