I enjoy coin collecting. I have been collecting for decades.
I received a roll of 2004 D Jefferson peace nickels from a friend. He works at the Denver Mint a gave them to me.
I have some photos of them. An auction company told me they are face value. I believe that since they are uncirculated that might not be the case. Take a look and tell me if I should have them graded or not, and if you believe they are worth more than face value.
I also found some nice 1951 D wheat pennies in my change. Should I grade those?
Thanks,
Martin

First, kudos on coin collecting. It is a great hobby. Second: do you know what coin grading costs? A “nice” penny is worth one cent (inflation omitted). It would take a very special 1951 penny to make it worth the price of grading. Go on-line and see what a MS64 or higher peace nickel is worth after grading and slabbing. This should help you decide. PS: very few are ever MS64 or better. You may have an Extra Fine.

I enjoy coin collecting. I have been collecting for decades...
