Hello, I'm New.
Hi, everyone. I've been lurking for a year and a half and enjoy your community so I've decided it's time I joined. I don't have a metal detector, almost got one for Christmas, then my birthday, then our wedding anniversary...perhaps I should buy my husband one for his birthday
... one of these days I will buy one - to be honest the lugubrious tales about all the wood ticks out there this year have scared me just a teeny bit but I could start with my yard, which had a previous settlement on it, and I've found musket balls and square nails just digging in the rose bed.
I'm in Canada. Have lived and taken training in the US. I love history. I love old junk. I love beach combing. I love tromping through the bush. I love swamps. All of which means I'm not a very exciting person.
