Hello, My name is Jeff, I am 52 years old, I Live in Northern Wisconsin.
Some of you may have seen the thread; 25 years of silver missing. Although I am not new to treasure hunting metal detecting is a new venture.
Past treasure hunting includes over 150 privy digs, antique auctions, old dump's, yard sales, and above ground old homesteads.
My wife and I have just purchased two Garrett AT gold's starter metal detectors in hopes of finding lost caches of silver buried somewhere on this property.
Wisconsin has strict laws governing metal detecting on public land and Rivers, fortunately there are hundreds if not thousands of older homesteads to explore here.
We also would like to travel south in the winter for exploration.
No doubt this forum will be home for us for some time to come.
