Hi...I'm new to the world of metal detecting although I've been collecting indian artifacts for over 30 years. Searching plowed fields for "rocks" has been great but plowing practices have changed so much here in Wisconsin that it's become very hard to find artifacts due to low till/no till. I've been wanting to metal detect for some time now & that time has arrived.I've never used a metal detector-ever but a'm very serious about picking up this new hobby. I have many ? about the subject mainly now I need advise on picking out a new detector.I've done plenty of research over the last few weeks so I have my choises narrowed down. Thanks for any info. in advance that you can share with me.....Wisc.
