Hello from Western PA

Hello everyone. I am new to the metal detecting hobby. I'm from a small town about 50 miles north of Pittsburgh. I have had my Garrett AT Pro for a little over a week now, and am getting used to the machine. Any tips about it would be much appreciated.

Welcome! Just read the manual, watch the videos, and go out and use it! It takes 30-50 hours of use to really understand everything it is telling you. Have fun!

welcome to tnet..glad your here..first thing you want to do is learn perfect ground balancing..read the manual thoroughly for the instructions..
very critical to your sucess//as ground balance can go out of wack in as little as a couple of feet...wet or metallic or mineralized ground gives false signals
drive you crazy..think that is what happened to the cloud readers on this forum,ha~!
