Great forum you all have set up here.
So I am in Northampton Ma and have been interested in metal detecting forever it seems.
When last I tried this hobby, I thought to get a metal detector and get started...if I liked it I could get better equipment later. That was a mistake. I bought a crappy detector and got frustrated with it. Not being able to work it I got rid of it and thought that it was just not a hobby for me.
Its been a few years now and I want to try again. I have been doing some research and found some that might work... but I wanted to get involved with a group so I didnt screw up too much again ;-)
