Hello From the Dallas, Tx Area

I am a transplant from NC to Grand Prairie, TX (Right outside of Dallas).

I was born and raised on the beaches of NC and metal detected there for years.
Now that I am in Dallas, I am looking to get together with others to detect.

Although I detect beaches and have a beach detector (whites beachhunter 300) I am looking to try the hard soil, or make a trip down to the Texas coast sometime.
