I am SanDiegoDigger and I am new to the site. I am very green at metal detecting I just finished my first few hours with my new garrett ace 350. I look forward to the knowledge and insight that I can gain from this site.

Loved my time in San Diego in the Navy. So much to see and everything was sooooo California. Kind'a miss talkin to the Clown at Jack n' the Box. Don't have those here in New Orleans. Is it true people go gold panning on the far side of the mountains to the east of San Diego ? Heard that awhile back. I guess there's gold everywhere in California, huh ?

Not everywhere but we have some gold areas. I find most of mine at the beach! When I see him next, I'll tell Jack you said Hi!
