Just wanted to say hello to the forum and comment about the cool new hobby of medal detecting i just started.
I purchased a Ace 350 for starters & it's sidekick the Garrett pro pointer along w/the Lesche digger.
I must say, that I always have been interested in the hobby since I seen my uncle 15 years ago use
his ancient detector machine pull up finds from family outings & places. it look so cool and inspired me to think what else is buried we don't know about.
It's only been about 4 months now since I started but, I feel I have the hang of it fairly well now.
The Ace 350 makes listening for the different tones sooo easy. Once my pin point method was mastered with the wiggle & pull back method
it's actually very fast.
Maybe after digging for a while and cashing in some of my finds.
I will be able to afford those "big gun" machines like the E-tracs and the spectra v3i.
But for now I'm happy to get out and swing and find cool stuff. Thanks for the tons of info. & videos this forum provides in which help to take the leap
and get involved in a cool hobby.
