Hello from Slippery Rock !

My name is Mike. I have had a coinmaster 6000 Di that I borrow ( for the last 5 years..lol ) from my father. I have played with it, but never really knew how to set it up to use. I can actually say that even without knowing, I have found metal every time the detector said something was there.
I would love to have someone explain to me what all the controls are for and how to set them.
I would also like to find some places in my area to search, but I dont know where to start.
Hopefully someone on here can help me get started. I really enjoy doing it. I just feel awkward right now by myself.

Hi Mikey...good machine...got one also...along with the DiPro and the Vision. I'm a White's man. Lots of places in your neck of the woods to detect I'm sure. Haven't been on the forum for a while and havent had much time for detecting the past couple years. Hopin this year will be some big changes to that.
Check out the Butler county treasure hunters club. There's some info in that forum of their meet days. Good bunch of folks.

Welcome aboard. Glad to have you with us. This is a great place with great people. Al is right. Lot of great places near you. The beach at Moraine and a few on SRU campus (ski lodge, ski slope, and up by the water tower). Please ask permission first before going on campus with a detector.
