thanks del i been metal detecting since i was like 6 and i also got interested in panning for gold just about any kind of treasure, and learning about our history and learning, much more fun then work lol i hunt fish and all that good stuff

thanks wayne, i been in the store a few times, hey i got a question do you use a pin locator, to find things in your hole you just dug, i have always just grabbed a hand full and run it past till i find it, but some times small stuff can be a pain, just curious, i thought about getting one, thanks

Yes, I currently use a Garrett Proointer. It speeds up recovery of a target dramatically. It helps you find the target when it's in the sidewall of the hole, or in the plug - and if my detector says a target is shallow, I put the Propointer on the ground before I dig the plug.
